New Zealand vacation 2019

This year's major vacation will be to New Zealand. Specifically, the North Island, since it's a big country and there's barely enough time to scratch the surface of Aotearoa in only 3 weeks. Time and mental energy permitting, we'll blog and post a few photos as we go. Through the magic of time zones (time dilation?), we (will have) left Canada on 20 March and (will have) arrived in Auckland on 22 March: about 48 hours after we left, even though the trip takes only 25 hours, mostly in the air.
