Today, our plan is to catch the early train (7:50 AM) to ensure that we get to the airport (Rome Fumicino) with plenty of time to check in, get rid of our bags, and put our feet up for a well-deserved rest.
Too long, didn't read version: We made it safely home, exhausted. Some final thoughts later in the week once we're back on North American time and caught up on the worst of the accumulated paperwork, mail, etc.
